§ 12-3. Board of control.

(a)

The parish public library shall be governed by a board of control, of which the president of the police jury shall be ex officio a member, and there shall be five (5) other members, citizens of this parish.

(b)

The members of the board of control shall be appointed by the police jury for a term of five (5) years.

(c)

The board of control shall have all of the authority in respect to the parish public library as is conferred upon it by law.
