§ 2-33.6. Safety committee.

  • The duties of the safety committees should include:

    (a)

    Regularly scheduled monthly inspection, as a group, of all areas of the parish, noting all unsafe conditions and/or unsafe acts. All adverse conditions should be corrected immediately either permanently or temporarily until such time as permanent correction can be made.

    (b)

    Submitting parish inspection report to the safety coordinator each month indicating all unsafe conditions noted. A copy of the report should be retained by the committee so that during the following week's inspection the committee can ascertain the amount of progress made in the correction of reported unsafe conditions.
