Gravity Drainage District No. 7 of the Parish of Cameron is hereby created under the
provisions of Louisiana Revised Statutes, Sections 38:1751 to 38:1904, both inclusive,
as amended, all within the limits of the parish and shall comprise and embrace all
of the territory within the following described boundaries, to wit:
Commencing at the northeast corner of Section 4, Township 12 South, Range 12 West;
thence running south to the southeast corner of Section 33, Township 12 South, Range
12 West; thence east to the northeast corner of Section 4, Township 13 South, Range
12 West; thence south to the southeast corner of Section 33, Township 13 South, Range
12 West; thence east to the northeast corner of Township 14 South, Range 11 West;
thence south to the south bank line of Calcasieu Lake (West Cove); thence east along
the meander of the south bank line of Calcasieu Lake and the meander of the south
bank line of the West Fork of the Calcasieu River to the intersection of the west
line of Section 23, Township 14 South, Range 10 West; thence south to the southwest
corner of Section 2, Township 15 South, Range 10 West; thence east along the south
line of Section 2, Township 15 South, Range 10 West, to the northwest point or corner
of Irregular Section 27, Township 15 South, Range 10 West; thence southerly along
the west line of Irregular Section 27, Township 15 South, Range 10 West, to the southern
boundary line of Cameron Parish; thence westerly along the southern boundary line
of Cameron Parish to the Sabine River; thence northerly along the line between the
State of Louisiana and Texas to the Calcasieu Parish Line; thence east along the line
between the Parish of Cameron and Calcasieu to the point of commencement.
