§ 1-4. General penalty.

Any person convicted of a violation of any provision of this Code of Ordinances or any other ordinance of the Parish, when not provided otherwise, shall be punished by a fine not exceeding one hundred dollars ($100.00) or imprisonment for a period not exceeding thirty (30) days, or both such fine and imprisonment, in the discretion of the court. Unless provided otherwise, a separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
