§ 19-20. Guarantee deposit.

Upon the hearing of the application for a permit required by this article, the police jury shall determine the amount, if any, of guarantee deposit to be made by the applicant. The deposit, in form of a "certified check" or "cashiers check," made payable to the parish police jury, as a guarantee that the applicant will perform his work in a manner satisfactory to the grantor, shall be made prior to the commencement of any work.
