§ 19-17. Penalties.

Anyone who shall violate any provision of this article or fails to comply with any order made there under shall severally for each such violation and noncompliance be guilty of a misdemeanor and punishable by a fine not to exceed five hundred dollars ($500.00), or imprisonment not exceeding sixty (60) days, or both. The imposition of one penalty for any violation shall not excuse the violation nor permit it to be continued, and all such persons shall be required to correct or remedy such violation. The application of the above penalty shall not be held to prevent the enforced removal of prohibited conditions.
