§ 18-44. Commission—Creation.

For the purpose of exercising the powers and duties set forth in R.S. 33:131 through 140, inclusive, and R.S. 33:1321 through 1332, inclusive, there is to be hereby created the Imperial Calcasieu Regional Planning Commission. As soon as three (3) or more of the contiguous parishes included in the Imperial Calcasieu Regional Planning Area, as per the attached map (identified as Imperial Calcasieu Regional Planning Area) have adopted this article or an identical ordinance, then the existence of the Imperial Calcasieu Regional Planning Commission shall be created, effective immediately upon adoption by the first three (3) parishes, within the Imperial Calcasieu Regional Planning Area, as per R.S. 33:131.
