§ I. Penalty for absences.

Any member who without excuse as provided for in Article X, Section II, shall be absent from any regular, or special meeting, or any fire alarm for five (5) consecutive times shall forfeit his membership in the department. Should his resignation not be handed in voluntarily, the board of directors shall order his name stricken from the record.
